Even when using an acne treatment that works, you will still have acne for a while. Nothing works instantly, and sometimes you will need to hide the acne. A class picture, a wedding to attend, even a job interview are perfect reasons to hide that acne. It can be done. The cover isn’t perfect, but unless someone inspects you closely, your acne will be hidden.
First, wash your face well. Makeup will not remain on a dirty or oily face. Use a lighter foundation than normal. Use a green concealer on the acne. It really works. Apply your normal liquid foundation. Then apply powder with a make up brush. Use a minimal amount of blush if any. The green concealer should hide the red acne at least until you get one of the new acne treatments, then you skin will clear up on it’s own.
Finding acne treatments that work will solve your problem skin but this works in the meantime. Men, you can do this too,. Ask your mom, sister, or wife to help you apply the makeup. It may seem odd, putting on makeup, but if you really want that job or that picture to be perfect, it is worth it. The better the makeup brand, the better the coverage, so don’t scrimp. It is also a good idea to practice this first, before the big day just to make sure you are applying the makeup properly.
